Please join us for our new Life Application class series on developing a Christ-like attitude. During our recent class series, based on the book Comeback Churches, we learned that the #1 barrier to growth was attitudes. During the coming weeks, we will take a indepth look at attitudes and how each of us can develop the Christ-like attitude that Paul describes in Philippians chapter 2.
The class is being facilitated by Bill Seniker, Harlan Bloodworth, and Bryan Stieglitz. Please join us on Sundays at 9 AM in the auditorium.
Schedule:
- 6/27 What is an Attitude?

On Sunday January 31, 2010 the Vaughn Hill family donated nearly $3500 to support the Haiti relief efforts. The money will be used to support the work of Healing Hands International, an organization overseen by Churches of Christ in the Nashville area. Healing Hands International has a hospital setup in the Dominican Republic near the Haiti border, which enables them to bring people back that need hospital care. For more information about Healing Hands International, please visit their website at http://www.hhi.org/.
Thank you for your generous donation to the people of Haiti. Please keep the people of Haiti in your prayers.

We would like to thank the Vaughn Hill family for the sacrifices that were made related to our make up contribution that was held earlier this month. What is most important to us is not the dollar amount that was given as much as the hearts of those who gave. Anytime there is a need, this church family pulls together and gives more than anyone could imagine. 2009 was a tough year for most financially which makes the amount you gave an even greater sacrifice. At the same time, in 2009, God has presented us with numerous opportunities to serve and help those in our community. God has been glorified by the way the Vaughn Hill family has touched the lives of others in 2009. You are living our mission: “I will glorify God by sharing Christ with those whose lives I touch.”
As an update for those who may not have heard, the total given during the special contribution was $17,800. This means our actual giving for 2009 was just $200 under budget.
Your Shepherds,
Bill, Bryan, Don, & Paul

Have you ever had some good news that you could not wait to share with others? Have you ever had a gift that you were excited to give someone? So excited that you could not wait for that person to open it? Hopefully, we have all had experiences where we were excited about sharing something with another person. Do you have that same excitement for sharing the Good News of Jesus with others? There is no better news or gift to share.
Our Mission: “I will glorify God by sharing Christ with those whose lives I touch.”
